1. Description of the Service

The services provided consist of a non-anesthetic dental cleaning performed by trained personnel, with the aim of improving your pet’s oral hygiene. This procedure includes the manual removal of visible tartar above the gumline.

2. Benefits of Non-Anesthetic Dental Cleaning

Improves oral hygiene and helps reduce bad breath.
- Can assist in the early detection of dental concerns.
- A safer alternative for pets who are not ideal candidates for anesthesia.
- Minimally invasive and less stressful for the pet.
- More affordable option for routine maintenance.

3. Service Limitations

- This procedure does not replace a full veterinary dental cleaning under anesthesia.
- No subgingival (below the gumline) cleaning is performed.
- Does not treat advanced periodontal disease.
- The company does not diagnose, prescribe medications, or perform medical veterinary procedures.

4. Risks

Although all necessary precautions are taken, there are inherent risks in any handling of an animal, including but not limited to: stress, sudden movements, minor bleeding, damage to fragile teeth, or discomfort during or after the procedure. In cases of aggressive behavior, obvious pain, or significant distress, we reserve the right to stop the procedure for the safety of the pet and staff.

5. Reservation Fee

To confirm your appointment, a reservation fee of 30% of the total service cost is required.
- This amount is non-refundable if the procedure cannot be performed due to:
• Undisclosed medical conditions.
• Aggressive or uncooperative behavior.
• Owner’s decision to cancel at the time of the appointment.
- The payment guarantees the time and space reserved for your pet.
*Please note: If paying by card, a processing fee of 3.5% + $0.30 will be applied. To avoid this charge, you may choose to pay via Zelle.*

6. Liability

- You acknowledge being informed of the nature of the procedure, its benefits, and limitations.
- You release Furry Tooth Fairy, its employees, and representatives from any accidental, direct, or indirect damage that may arise during or after the procedure, except in cases of proven negligence.
- You accept that any further veterinary follow-up is your responsibility and should be done under the guidance of your veterinarian.

7. Authorization

By signing below, I declare that:

- I am the legal owner of the pet listed above or have authorization to sign on their behalf.
- My pet is in good general health and does not have any medical conditions that contraindicate this procedure.
